Here is a amazing Opal gem that has a lovely combination of floral multifire and crystal flashfire pattern. The cut is modified elongated bar with a large table to show off the beautiful flashes of green, blue, yellow and red. This Opal is a hydrophane Opal, along with most all Ethiopian Opals. The Hydrophane reaction is when the Opal becomes transparent and loses it’s play of color when immersed in water. This reaction will continue for a short time until the Opal dries out once again.
