Anjahamiary pegmatite, Tranomaro, Amboasary Sud District, Anosy, Madagascar
Large pegmatite, which has produced spectacular, polychrome tourmaline crystals characterized by portions of exceptional azure-blue colour. In the border zone there is an abundance of large allanite crystals.A Malagasy-English company recently got the claim on this pegmatite and has begun mining.
