Transparent honey-coloured calcite crystals to 5 cm occured in 1999.

Rock crystal of good quality Was found in skarn. Quartz was often included. Several Japan-law twins contained brown rhombododecahedrons to 3 mm, which were identified as of andradite garnet. Chlorite inclusions were found as greenish black "suns" to 1 mm, and hematite as blood-red needles and flakes. Some quartz crystals were found with yellow-green clinozoisite inclusions, yellow chalcopyrite and yellow pyrite. Pampa Blanca is also the source of white phantom in quartz.
