Unakite

Unakite is named after place of discovery in South Carolina, USA.

Unakite is an altered granite consisting primarily of pink Orthoclase Feldspar, clear Quartz and green Epidote. It is very compact and hard.

Unakite is cut into cabochons, fashioned into beads and carved into ornamental objects.
